Light as Context

It’s so easy to remember all the traumatic and painful things about our pasts. Lately I’ve been hearing the stories I tell people about who I am, and I realized that I was quicker to tell about my struggles than my triumphs. But each coexisted and continue to coexist. Each informs and deepens the other.
